Going to jump in here and say what I always say. 11 doesn’t suffer enough heartache. Everything goes a little too well for him and it seems unfair to the previous doctors. I feel absolutely no emotion when watching 11, and felt a hell of a lot with 10. I sobbed every other episode, I swear. When it comes to his companions, he doesn’t seem to have that amazing chemistry 10, and even 9, had with theirs. Even the ones they only had for a single episode, such as Kylie Minogue. 11 is too goofy. It’s not a bad thing, but it gets to be a bit much when it seems like he’s trying too hard (First noted in The End of Time Pt II). There are also a few things in 11’s seasons that don’t match up with 10 that make me angry. Nothing seems as clever. The writing got lazy. Maybe I’d care more for 11 if I felt they kept a little of the old doctor in there, but they made sure to suck every bit of him out. I’d also like to say I think River Song is a stupid character and I hate Amy Pond. 10 wins my heart, always and forever. He dicho. Caso cerrado.
